How we selected
We use Tesla Ireland's current order/specification pages, then compare purchase price, seating/cargo need, efficiency, range, charging and access rather than acceleration claims.

Choose Model 3 when
You do not need SUV access or bulky-load flexibility, prefer the lower shape and the written order price leaves more budget for insurance, charger and finance interest.
Choose Model Y when
Child-seat access, hatchback loading and cabin height are worth the premium. Do not buy it solely for the largest published range: range changes by version and wheels.
Irish checks
- Save the final order summary and grant treatment before paying the non-refundable order fee.
- Price insurance using the exact variant.
- Test screen-led controls and rear visibility.
- Remember Tesla states that Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is not currently available in Ireland; driver-assistance features require supervision.
